The cafe caters for everyone – climbers, horse riders, campers, accommodation guests and passers‑by.
Seating 30 indoors and 24 on our outdoor balcony, there’s plenty of space for everyone.

The cafe serves a range of freshly-prepared meals and light bites. Vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free options are available in our varied menu.

Refreshing hot and cold drinks deserve something to go with them, so we have a delicious range of home-made cakes to choose from, including Rita’s famous Welshcakes!
Relax and enjoy the view
Base Camp has its own spacious outdoor balcony with seating for 24. Overlooking our riding arena, it has a stunning panorama of Llangorse Lake and the peaks of the Brecon Beacons. Perfect on a lovely summer’s day!
During the winter months, you’ll always find the large wood-burning stove keeping the place warm – great with a hot chocolate or latte.
Looking for group catering?
Base Camp Cafe has lots of experience catering for large groups. If you’re planning a stay in our on-site accommodation, we can create a catering package for you.
We can prepare a special menu to suit the exact needs of your programme and group, including any dietary requirements.
Discounts are available for larger bookings.
