At our riding centre, we offer 30 minute Pony Rides for children from 4 years and over, or an hour Beginners Ride from 7 years.

4 years & over

30 Minute Pony Rides

A first experience for most – from 4 years and over we can offer 30 minute pony rides led by an instructor to help children take their first steps towards riding.

We can also offer regular weekly riding lessons from 5 years and over.

7 years & over

1 Hour Beginners Ride

For older children, we can offer 1 hour Beginner’s Rides from 7 years upwards.

Other Activities

We have plenty of other activities for children at our riding centre!

For children aged 5 years and over, we run weekly riding lessons for those who wanting to progress their riding further.

We also run regular pony camps and riding holidays during school breaks. Pony Parties can also be booked for a birthday party with difference.

Our Pony Rides are suitable for ages 4 years and over

All of our rides take place on miles of private bridleways within our own land, offering scenic views of Llangorse Lake and the surrounding mountains

Do I need to book?

We strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. Please call our bookings team on 01874 658272 (9am to 5pm).

What should I wear?

Clothing should be comfortable and suitable for the weather. It’s best to wear long, comfortable trousers – shorts are not advisable.
We will provide European standard hard hats and riding boots.
We recommend that jewellery is not worn.

Does an adult need to remain on site during activities?

Under 9 years: A parent or guardian must remain on site where children under 9 years of age are taking part in activities.

9 years & over: For children 9 years and over, we strongly recommend that an adult remains on site in the unlikely event of illness or accident. However, if you are going off the site we ask that you leave your contact details and complete an unaccompanied child form at our reception desk before you leave.

Are your activities suitable for participants with special educational needs and disabilities?

We are committed to help all guests realise their potential. Our activities can often be adapted for participants with special educational needs and disabilities. We will need to discuss with you your requirements in advance, including a comprehensive disclosure of capabilities and recommendations. We can then talk through details and options with you over the phone.
