Llangorse One Day Event

Join us for a fun and informal One Day Event at Llangorse Multi Activity Centre – back again for 2026!

This will involve a Dressage Test, a Show Jumping round, and a Cross-Country round. Dressage tests can be called.

New for 2026! – Introducing our Ultra-Mini Class – the perfect gentle first step into riding events for our tiniest riders. More details below.

Start times will be emailed by Thursday 18th June 2026.

Course walk on the Friday 19th (afternoon) and Saturday 20th June (morning or afternoon), or prior to the cross-country on the Sunday.

The entry fee for Classes 1 and 2 is £45 per competitor. For the Ultra Mini class, the entry fee is £35 per competitor.

New – Ultra Mini Class:

Introducing our Ultra Mini Class—the perfect gentle first step into riding events for our tiniest riders.

This one-day class is designed for younger or nervous riders to build confidence in a calm environment. Participants navigate a simple course of poles on the ground and small raised elements up to 20cm.

Lead rein assistance is welcome. The pace is slow and steady, with plenty of encouragement – it’s a great introduction to riding events, focusing on fun and confidence!

Stabling:

Over night stabling and accommodation is available – please enquire for availability.

Overnight stables for 1 night are £20 per horse. Straw provided.

Rider Registration

All places must be booked online using the online booking facility or by phoning 01874 658272.

Please take note of the following information:

  • Cross-Country colours can be worn for the Cross-Country phase.
  • All Riders must wear ‘Protective Headwear’ i.e. a hat which meets one of the following standards:
    • British – All PAS 015, VG1 – provided they are BSI Kitemarked
    • European – VG1 – provided they are BSI Kitemarked
    • American –All SEI ASTM F1163 04a onwards and SNELL E2001
    • Australian & New Zealand – AS/NZS 3838 2003 onwards.
  • Harnesses must be correctly fastened at all times whilst mounted.
  • Body protectors are compulsory for the cross-country phase.
  • Riders must have their own cross-country number bibs.
  • Dressage tests can be called.
  • Competitors must follow the Event Rules.

IMPORTANT – You will need to complete a Rider Registration Form prior to the event. Details will be emailed to you prior to the event.
